Embroidered Cushion Cover – 30cm x 30cm – Coral and Grey embroidery on Navy silk

Neran embroidery, meaning eyebrows, is a unique style which adopts buttonhole stitch in the shape of a curve. The tiny mirrors are held in place by intricate stitchwork. These pieces are made by Sindhi Memen women who migrated from Pakistan to Kutch many years ago. Coloured embroidery onto a black slub silk backing. This product is bought directly from a craftswomen’s cooperative in rural Gujurat (Qasab).
