Embroidered Cushion Cover – 40cm x 40cm – Lilac and Pale Green embroidery

Neran embroidery, meaning eyebrows, is a unique style which adopts buttonhole stitch in the shape of a curve. The tiny mirrors are held in place by intricate stitchwork. These pieces are made by Meghwar women who are highly skilled embroiderers who follow their traditional centuries-old designs. Coloured embroidery onto a burgundy red cotton and silk slub backing. This product is bought directly from a craftswomen’s cooperative in rural Gujurat (Qasab).
