Pelmet Wall hanging – Embroidered wall hanging with Elephants and Flowers

A beautiful addition for a child’s room or elsewhere in the house or could also be used in a tent or marquee – a colourful exotic decoration for weddings and parties. Colourful silk embroidery depicting elephants and flowers framed by multicoloured hearts and leaves. This piece is embroidered with fine herringbone stitch throughout. Shisha work (mirrors) in the cente of the flowers which traditionally is thought to ward off the evil eye. Brightly coloured lurex pennants 22 cm x 9 cm (8.5 inches x 3.5 inches) representing mango leaves for good luck. 13 hanging loops. Good condition. The pennants can be removed for a plainer look.
