Large Vintage Chakla in Flower design on Orange Silk

A large vintage Chalka with a traditional butti flower design finely embroidered using silk stitching on beautiful orange silk, supported by a layer of red cotton. Contrasting embroidered purple silk border with a raw edge. In places, the border has worn with time revealing patches of the underlying red cotton. Saurashtra, c1920.
