Vintage Bull Cover – Design 1

An unusual vintage bull cover richly decorated with hand stitched cotton and metallic applique and embroidery. It is finely embroidered using a variety of stitching styles in a mixture of silk and cotton with bird, flower and geometric designs on a red cotton background.  It is bordered in green cotton and backed with a supporting layer of heavy blue cotton, with cotton tassels at each corner.  The original neck has been stitched which creates a rectangular piece that could be used as a wall hanging or as a table cover.
